Just one day before the babies are born! I was so big and miserable. I kept timing my contractions to see if they were regular, so I could go to the hospital. We even went to Costco and walked around to see if that would get things rolling. No luck, but it did make my feet and legs even more swollen. By midnight, I couldn't bend my ankles or toes. My legs and feet were so painful. My skin was shiny. It looked like my feet could pop at any moment. Little did I know that my twins would be born the next day!

Last Day of Work--
Friday was my last day of work. I will have to go back after my maternity leave, unless Wes a big raise at his new job. I feel ready to be home. It's been hard to do even my office hours these days. I'm always the topic of conversation at work, whenever someone sees me. They like to make comments like, "you're getting big," or "I think you've dropped," or my favorite comment from a lady at church last week, "I like your mumu." I was wearing this red dress that actually isn't even a maternity dress, but it's just one of those crinkle dresses that stretches a lot. I told Wes that I now need to burn it!Hopefully, these babies will stay in for another week or two. I just hope they give my back a break.

Decorating the tree
We had fun decorating the tree. We decided to set it up early this year, before I got too big and pregnant. As we were putting the "tinkerbells" (Kylee's name for ornaments) on the tree, she picked-up a golden pear ornament and asked, "Mom, look it's the forbidden fruit!" I thought it was so cute, that now I'm going to think of that every time I look at those golden fruit ornaments. Kids make the holidays so much fun! Thanks, Wes for getting the tree and other decorations out, and setting them up for us! You're the best husband, and you do so much for me--especially with me being so limited.

Pregnant at the movies
Oh, the swelling!
I had to take these pictures to document the swollen feet and legs, or "kankles." This has been my biggest problem during this pregnancy. It sure does hurt, but I'm sure it will all be worth it when I see my cute babies. The picture with the cute skinny foot, is with my sister, Amanda. This is what my legs and feet usually look like--note the huge difference.
