New Hair Cut

Do you like my new do? I went to this awesome male stylist, and he gave me this rockin violet color and totally cute cut. I plan to grow my hair out again, and he said this cut will grow out better than my last a-line cut.

Christmas

Christmas was magical this year. Kylee is at that fun age where Santa is real, presents are surprises, and parents can do no wrong. I was supposed to work this Christmas, but I was the lucky one to get put on-call.
Christmas morning we woke Kylee up at 8 am, and she ran into the family room to see what Santa had brought her. As she started opening her first present from Santa, she said, "I guess Santa decided not to give me a lump of coal." You see, Kylee had been kind of naughty lately, and we were using that threat to keep her in line --it really worked. Kylee really wanted to see what coal was. She has a nice rock collection already, and she thought coal would make a nice addition--ha,ha.
After the presents were played with, we went and saw a movie, Bedtime Stories. The first pictures is at the movie theater.

Christmas Eve

Since we had to stay in St. George this Christmas, we decided to invite some friends and family over for dinner. We had Candice, Joe, the Mcdougals, and Amy's parents. It was so much fun. We ate a nice dinner (I'm so pround of my table and place settings-I even used our wedding china), decorated cookies, and played games. Kylee loves playing with Ashley, Brock, and Tyler.

Creative Kylee

This is an example of Kylee playing with her stuffed animals. She was having a "tea party picnic." She was grounded from tv, movies, or friends this day, so she was having fun playing with her toys (and mom).

Thanks Mom!

After Thanksgiving, my mom was nice enough to stay down for another week, to take care of Kylee. Wes had to go out of town for work, and I had to still work at the hospital.

Kylee absolutely loved it! These are pictures of Kylee and her Grandma Julie making apple crisp. My favorite part of the trip was our girls only night, when we watched the Sisterhood of the Traveling Necklace 2, and had a nice dinner courtesy of my mom. My mom made us dinner every night. It was nice to come home from work and have a home cooked meal ready.

My mom even took Kylee to school with the tag-a-long bike. I don't have any pictures, but you can look back to older posts and see the bike with Wes and Kylee on it. Mom was nervous, but she did great and Kylee loved it. The night before my mom left, Kylee started crying, and said, "I don't want Grandma to leave. I'm going to miss her." We miss you Grandma, come visit anytime!

Family Photos--Cute Enough to Share

The kids had a hard time looking at the photographer. They were too busy looking at their other aunts and uncles who were trying to get their attention.

More Pictures From Thanksgiving 2008

I just love my family. We are all so photogenic! Here are some more pictures of the fun times we had over the holidays.

Better Late. . . Right?

Thanksgiving was a blast at our house. We had the whole fam-damily in St. George--at least the Wilson side anyway. A fun time was had by all. We ate lots of food, played games, went to Zions, and watched the infamous Twilight on the big screen. It was so good to see everyone, especially my new nephew, Jaden. Danielle and Marc drove all the way from San Antonio, Texas. All of my siblings came, so it really was a nice reunion.

Kylee really loved playing with her cousins, and she was so sad after they all left. We really feel lucky to have such a wonderful family. Thank you everyone for coming and spending time here with us in southern Utah.
