Conference weekend we went to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We listened to the Saturday morning session on the way there. It worked out perfectly because it's about a 2 hour drive from our house in St. George to the Grand Canyon. It was just a quick day trip, but we had never seen it, so we decided to take advantage of my day off work. We also don't have cable TV at our house anymore, so we don't get conference on TV. Sunday, we just listened to it on the radio. The Grand Canyon is beautiful, but I think I was expecting it to be more red rock like Lake Powell. Wes and I think that Lake Powell is more magestic.
